🎥 FORREST GUMP
He touched millions of people around the world, won several Oscars, and now, three decades after its premiere, it returns to the big screen. During his journey of life, good-hearted simpleton Forrest Gump will pass through many key historical events in modern US history, including school desegregation, the Vietnam War, and the Watergate affair. Just as casually as he leaves his mark on these historical milestones, he also transforms the lives of the people around him.
Director Robert Zemeckis has created a masterful machine for positive emotions, where all film components form a perfect whole. The film became an international sensation and went down in history with its revolutionary use of digital post-production effects, which did not stand out from the film as an attraction, but on the contrary served to perfectly create the atmosphere and revive a bygone era, but also to stage the meeting of the title character with a number of historical figures from President Kennedy to John Lennon. In no small measure, the film's popularity was also contributed by the excellent soundtrack, which, in addition to Alan Silvestri's original music, includes dozens of timeless hits from across several decades of pop music. Sometimes, it's much easier to move than we've ever thought. Tom Hanks is celebrating his 70th birthday and at Prótomnost we have picked a special film treat for this occasion.

🎥 FORREST GUMP
The film moved millions of people around the world, has won numerous Oscars and now, after three decades since its original premiere, is coming back to the big screen. During his life, the good-hearted and simple-minded Forrest Gump has walked through many key events of modern US history, including the desegregation of schools, the war in Vietnam or the Watergate affair. At the same time, he has changed the lives of many people around him in the same unintended way with which he left his mark on all those historical milestones. Director Robert Zemeckis has created a perfectly-tuned machine for positive emotions, where each element of the film form contributes to the phenomenal whole. The film has gained a place in film history thanks to its brilliant use of CGI, which was not used for spectacle but to recreate historical events, including the title character's meeting with JFK or John Lennon and to contribute to the overall feeling of the film. A substantial part of the film's fame is credited to the incredible soundtrack, which aside from the original score by Alan Silvestri includes dozens of classic hit songs.
