About event
The Prague 5 district will organize a continuation of the Forum on Safety in Prague (5). On Monday, November 18, you can discuss the security situation here again after a year. The meeting will be attended by representatives of the City Hall. City of Prague, social service providers, the Prague Municipal Police and the Police of the Czech Republic.
On the agenda will be an evaluation of the current situation in the area of safety and the sense of security of the citizens of Prague 5. business over the past year. We will also focus on education regarding the correct handling of the situation associated with drug users and at-risk homeless people. The aim of the meeting is to create joint pressure on the actors who have the necessary powers to solve the situation.
The forum will mainly focus on:
• the current state of the security situation in Prague 5,
• implemented and planned measures of individual actors,
• initiatives for systemic changes that would enable a shift in solving the situation and ensuring the sense of security of the population of Prague,
• the topic of caring for homeless people and people using addictive substances with regard to limiting the impact on the population,
• citizens' initiatives and communication with the City Hall of Prague 5, the possibility of supporting citizens' initiatives and other steps to improve the current situation.
