About event
No matter whether it's a flower, Insect or water drop: with macro photography we can make smallest details visible that are no longer noticeable to the naked eye. These beautiful and sometimes strange-seeming image worlds will be our playground in this photo workshop.
After a short theoretical part on the introduction and the technical and photographic special features of macro photography, we will look at the advantages and disadvantages of different macro hardware. If you don't (yet) have your own macro lens or extension rings, you are welcome to rent the appropriate equipment during the photography course.
Then we go straight to the main part of the photography course and we use the camera to look for interesting plants, insects and other details in order to try out and deepen what we have learned. Many useful tips, suggestions and tricks will help you find motifs, use light as a design tool and refine your technique.
We mainly work with natural ambient light, reflectors and portable light. In addition, small aids and tools are presented that should not be missing from any macro photographer's bag. You will also learn how you can recreate the various shooting techniques with inexpensive accessories at home in the garden or on the balcony.
The course is aimed at both beginners and advanced photographers who want to further develop their skills in macro photography or learn one or two tricks.
Personal support in small groups
The individual support of each participant is very important to me you will be picked up exactly where you are standing. You will receive immediatefeedback and suggestionson location and we will take the time to work on our images in depth.
I will help you to master the technique, find interesting excerpts and work out new image ideas.
