🎶🚀 Watch out, Groove Brno brings a legend! Freak Power, the embodiment of legendary wild energy, will soon resound in Brno! At the beginning of the nineties, this band stormed into London clubs and charmed the local scene with its unique mix of acid jazz, soul, funk and trip hop 🎷🎸. This great formation was led by two outstanding personalities: vocalist and trombonist Ashley Slater and bassist Norman Cook, who is today known worldwide as Fatboy Slim 🎤🎧.
📀 After the successes with the albums "Drive-Thru Booty" (1994) and "More of Everything For Everybody" (1996), the band split up and both artists went their separate ways. Norman Cook became famous as a DJ and producer, while Ashley Slater revived the band and with a new lineup of younger musicians continues to maintain the unforgettable energy of Freak Power.
🌟 Brno's Metro Music Bar has a lot to look forward to - Freak Power here will perform on November 15. And of course, it wouldn't be the same without their biggest hit "Turn On, Tune In, Cop Out"! Come tune in to the unmistakable vibrational waves full of energy and creativity that defined the music scene of the 90s.
