Free Bimhuis Jazz jam session

On Tuesday nights, Bimhuis café is the stage for the Tuesday Jam! Under the inspiring leadership of Jasper Blom, saxophonist and 2019 Boy Edgar Prize winner, this is the place where musicians young and old, professional and emerging meet and inspire each other. With the award-winning jazz school of the Conservatorium van Amsterdam only a few hundred meters away, there is no shortage of up-and-coming talent. Add to that spontaneous visits from world-class musicians (Esperanza Spalding/Seamus Blake/Dick Oatts) and you have the perfect mix. In short, this is the session you need to attend as a jazz musician or lover.
