About event
The Stadttheater Wiener Neustadt presents:
FROM PEER GYNT TO FILM HITS
Benefit concert for the benefit of the Ronald McDonald House Wiener Neustadt
Great music, young musicians, a good cause: Come to the benefit concert of the Vermont Youth Orchestra for the benefit of the Ronald McDonald House Wiener Neustadt on June 30th at the Stadttheater Wiener Neustadt. As a welcome, the Josef Matthias Hauer Music School of the city of Wiener Neustadt will play works of Viennese classical music.
Some of the most iconic melodies in music history can be heard. The program ranges from Verdi's great operatic sounds from Nabucco to the Nordic mysticism of the Peer Gynt Suites to the monumental film music of Ben Hur and the theme music for the video game Kingdom Hearts. You can also look forward to melodies from Dvořák's spirited Slavic Dances, Holst's The Planets and Respighi's impressive “The Archangel Michael” from Kirchenfenster.
