Free Radicals: Zdivočelé ekologie

Speculative workshop with designer Gaja Samnaric Osole and artist Ivana Papić. Participants will go for a walk along the overgrown railway line in Prague's Vršovice and together to examine what it means to live in the world of post-anthropocentric cities, where so-called "invasive species" cease to be perceived as a threat and begin to be seen as potential allies and co-authors of urban ecosystems. The special guest will be Kateřina Štajerová, a leading Czech expert in invasion species from the Institute of Botany ASCR. The program examines where plant biodiversity meets contemporary art and culture, and presents art projects and approaches that connect a person with nature in new, sensitive ways. The event is organized by the Haenke platform. Co -financed by the European Union. Participation in workshops is free, capacity is limited.
