Blueprints of Java: Gradle Builds (by Marco Sussitz)

Build tools can be very helpful for software projects. If set up correctly, they can generate your final program with ease, handle dependencies for you, or help you run your tests.

But they can also cause many headaches and be an annoying addition to your project. Something you spend hours or even days fixing. During this talk, we will set up an example project and learn how to use Gradle for our use cases.

At the ICON tower, walk straight to the info point and ask for a visitor’s card for Dynatrace (17th floor). They will explain your way to Tower 17.
At the second glass door, use the card reader to your left to open it.
At the turnstiles, hold your visitor card against the reader. The screen will display the letter of the elevator to take.
