About event
Traditional local patriotic festival of good music and mood.
DEPRESSY
Depresy is a Slovak death metal / black-death metal band founded in 1991 in Trenčín. They play dark, atmospheric and melodic extreme metal music, which they describe as "mystic occult death metal" — with growl vocals, keyboard mysticism and technical guitar passages. The band has been active on the domestic and foreign underground scene for more than 30 years and has released several albums and demos, including titles such as Sighting (1999), Psychomantium Phenomenon (2003), Morph – Near Death Experiences (2009) and Psycold (2022). Depressions have toured with legends of the metal scene (e.g. Vader, Cannibal Corpse, Napalm Death) and performed at important festivals in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
THE CULTURAL STUDIES (SK, USA)
The cultural studies is a creative product of Trenčín native Oskar Pompa and Eric a.k.a. Stereo Vampire from the American St. Louis. This slum-poet literally infects imaginative electro-acoustic music with spoken word, and with his humorous but apt lyrics about society, he protests and incites like a feisty raccoon. In 2019, they released their second album under the name Human Killed In Accident. The collection of seven electro songs with brilliant lyrics once again points to current social, political and ecological problems in the world. Throw on a snow-white suit, light a cigar, start the machine and enjoy the ride.
The band is performing in Slovakia with the following line-up:
Jeremy Hill (singer from Texas living in Slovakia)
Mates Homola (drummer from The Autumnist and Nylon Union projects)
Juraj UKO Benko – guitar
Oskar Pompa – vocals, bass guitar
BOLKA
Matúš Kobolka, also known as bolka (sk), is an electroacoustic improviser, composer and artist whose work is connected with glitch culture. His musical practice goes beyond the free improvisation of electronic music, he experiments with comedy, "genre bending" and rethinks the techniques of popular music. He uses custom software written in SuperCollider in combination with naive hardware solutions.

MIŠO BEREC
Guitarist from Trenčín, whose music is inspired by imaginary or long-forgotten places. His acoustic compositions arise from improvisations in non-traditional tunings and are influenced by the American Primitivism genre. His sound is characterized by repetitiveness, elements of oriental music and minimalism, which evoke introspection and timelessness. At the end of
2023, he released his debut EP album Songs for Sacred Places. He played at various events and clubs (Záriečie Station, Ladovňa, Luč Club, Cyklokuchyňa).
