Frost Children in Paradiso

For Angel and Lulu Prost, the brother-sister duo behind Frost Children, always sounded like dance music at home. The musicians born in St. Louis immersed themselves as teenagers in the world of golden-century-edm: they were fascinated by YouTube-Deepdives to Skrillex, Zedd and Krewella, saw Virtual Riot performing in an open-air theater in the neighborhood, and Doks in the dubstepzamling Forms the basis for their third album Sister, which will be released on 12 September via True Panther/Dirty Hit. With the precision and courage of adult makers, they return to the sounds that they once moved. The result is a layered and personal album, in which they explore themes such as co-dependence, change and the intensity of being together. At the same time, it is a powerful reflection of their creative collaboration as band members, as housemates, as two like -minded spirits with what Angel calls "twin pathy".
