GRASS GROWS FOR FIELDS
Following Pál Száz's novel

Pál Száz's phytolegendary combines ethnography with fiction, to which plants add a symbolic-allegorical language. This is a rarity in the history of Hungarian literature, since Pál Száz's grass book is a work of fiction written in the vernacular, with phonetic notation. It is about medicinal plants and human destinies, and the author tries to combine the Mátyusföld dialect with poetry in addition to respecting plants. It started from folk apocryphal stories based on the Bible, in which plants played an important role. The structure of the volume is also based on the order of the holidays and the sacred content associated with them.

In the production of the Csavar Színház, viewers can get a special cross-section of the herbal book. Through the story of a man and a woman and the focus of their relationship, the two actors Tamás Gál and Szilvia Kiss tell about historical and prehistoric times. The set of Mátyusföld parables ranges from the expulsion from paradise to the regime change.

"All nonsense is nonsense, everything passes away in this world, except life. Even death does not set a limit for that, which is for everything else. Love life, no matter what it is, because it is the greatest treasure! Open the chest of your heart, there can be no harm."
