Imagine today's pop-music without interconnecting cultures is impossible. For decades, music from the West has been inspired by the countries of the Global South and the East - from the Caribbean migrants on Windrush, who brought Reggae and Bass Music to Britain, to the current popularity of African dance music and the global success of Bad Bunny.
What will be the next big musical wave? And what does it tell us about the state of today's pop-music?
🎤 Music lecture by Petr Dolník within [Fjižn] 2025 x Futurit will bring stories, music and video clips that show how the musical roads of the south, east and west intertwine and enrich each other.
