About event
Šelepka is celebrating its 55th anniversary this year, and we also want to pay tribute to Miloš Bernátek with a concert by the Brno band FUTURUM, performed by the legendary Jindra Eliáš.
The concert starts at 8:00 p.m. until morning.
It is possible to hear about the group Futurum with Roman Dragoun since the early 1980s, specifically in the years 1981-83, when guitarist Miloš Morávek met in the famous Brno art rock group Progres 2 (*1951) and keyboardist and singer Roman Dragoun (*1956), who replaced Karel Horký (alias Daniel Forro). During the performance of the progressive rock opera The Third Book of the Jungle, they started creating new musical material together, but it was not suitable for presentation in the band Progres 2. A new band was finally formed from the side project - after playing all the concerts, Dragoun and Moravek decided not to continue in Progres, but to start their own way with somewhat different compositions and mainly musical style. The music of this now cult band was truly timeless in its time in certain respects, as it is not so much the arrangement of the piece that matters, but rather its core and possibly the text.
