Fyzika o páté: Zvuk v krystalech

As the sound in the air or water spreads, we all know from our own experience. Or vice versa, that in a vacuum does not spread at all. But how does the sound cope with the environment formed by a regular grid of atoms: for example in diamonds, in stone crystals or in supervitin blades of turbines of jet aircraft engines? Just because our machines do not fail at the worst moment, we need to get to know the sound in crystals better. In the lecture we will show the paradoxes of acoustics inside the crystals and imagine experimental methods such as the Institute of thermomechanics of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic.
