Gabriela Vermelho will christen his new album Rok Ticha (Hevhetia, 2023) on May 11 at the Jazz Dock accompanied by the Gadrew Way string quartet. The third solo album of the violinist, singer and composer Gabriela Vermelho revels in original folk music and is composed of two parts, in the first part Maruška she develops unique, poetic music based on collections of songs by Pavel Popelka, while the second part of the album Banditi pro baluda consists of compositions with lyrics by Milan Uhde. For the launch of the album, Gabriela edited most of the solo songs for a quartet performance, so you will have a unique opportunity to listen to the album in a way that you won't hear it on the audio carrier, enriched with cello, viola and double violins. The godfather of the album was accepted by the wonderful singer, pianist and music producer Beata Hlavenková, who will also christen the album and maybe stay on stage a little longer.

The concert evening will be complemented by several own songs of the Gadrew Way quartet, of which Gabriela is the primary. Gadrew Way's genres range from classical, jazz, through wild Balkan melodies to corners inspired by Czech and Moravian folklore, a distinctive component is also the author's work from the pen of the first violinist Gabriela Vermelho.
