About event
The Košice National Theater Opera cordially invites you to a spectacular opera gala concert by the soloists of the NDKE Opera. At the ensemble's joint gala concert, we will present works focusing on the premieres of the last opera seasons of the National Theater of Košice, but we will also present the audience with future opera titles.
The concert will also focus on world premieres and works from 1926, which will commemorate their 100th anniversary, namely Kováč Wieland by J. L. Bell, Turandot by G. Puccini, King by Roger K. Szymanowski and E. Kálmán's Circus Princess.
Arias from Puccini's Turandot will be performed exactly on the anniversary of its world premiere in La Scala on April 25, 1926, and the first Slovak opera Kováč Wieland had its world premiere three days later, on April 28, 1926, in SND.
Under the baton of chief conductor Petr Valentovič, the Opera's soloists will perform NDKE, Orchestra and Choir of the NDKE Opera.
