About event
For the second ginger sessions of this season we receive curator and visual artist Shehera Grot. Grot works at the Rotterdam Kunsthal and curated Matter of Place, the first solo exhibition at Thomas J Price in the Netherlands. The design of the exhibition space also took care of cave.
In her bio, she says that in her role as a curator she actively forges connections with the city. This allows the stories that Rotterdam inhabits to find their way to the Kunsthal, where they can be seen and heard for the widest possible audience. Cave also works as an autonomous photographer. Among other things, she shot the beautiful portrait of Judith de Kom for her book "I hug you continuous", a wonderful work about her father Anton de Kom.
