About event
The exhibition of genearcheohistoriography brings a view of the environment of Jáchymov uranium mines. It combines a documentary and conceptual photograph of Lena Jakubčáková and Maria Piatriková, who record the relationship between the past and the present at the places of disappearing labor camps. Jakubčáková captures the performance of two dancers, which symbolically purify the places of the unfair imprisonment, while Piatriková follows the traces of her grandfather, who was interned here. The exhibition examines not only family bonds, but also a wider historical context of political persecution and injustice.
