Ghost Funk Orchestra in Paradiso

Ghost Funk Orchestra (GFO), founded by composer and multi-instrumentalist Seth Applebaum, started as a solo recording project and is now a dynamic live band. Their genre-transcending sound, influenced by Soul, Psych Rock and Salsa, has received praise from, among others, NPR, Bandcamp and Brooklyn Vegan. GFO shared the stage with artists such as OS Mutantes and Grace Potter and played at iconic festivals such as Montreal Jazz and Telluride Jazz. According to Bandcamp’s J. Edward Keyes, the band leaves "no genre next to Funk unused". Their experimental, unpredictable style continues to surprise fans worldwide and make it curious about what GFO is going to bring the following.
