Weather is getting more like Spring this weekend. Let's get escape to the countryside, spend a day in the 'Venice of The Netherlands' Giethoorn village and meet new people! We will explore the charming village by boat cruising around the fairyland. You get a chance to navigate the boat!

Giethoorn has only 2,700 inhabitants. There are no roads in the village centre, all transport is done by water over one of the many canals ( nowadays there is a cycling path). Venice has gondolas, Giethoorn has punters, traditional flatbottom boats that are used for transport over the canals.
