About event
In the year that Amsterdam is celebrating its 750th birthday, we return to the early years of the city with the brand new opera Gijsbrecht van Aemstel of Jan van Maanen.
Joost van den Vondel wrote the play in which Amsterdam is destroyed by the enemy, but also glorier -
van Maandse, one of a wealth of wages, one of a wandering or bonds. Modern and accessible musical style.
