About event
GIÖBIA
The mystical moment when the rock of the sixties connected with the neo-psychedelic rock so much that the two positions began to merge to the point of losing their own identity - that's when the acid rock of the band Giöbia was born. Their captivating music with an unmistakable Italian signature creates a captivating soundtrack that draws listeners into a world where the boundaries of reality cease to exist and absolutely anything is possible. In 2016, they released the breakthrough album The Magnifier (Sulatron Records), which secured their place among the most prominent bands of the psychedelic scene. In 2021, the band released a joint album with The Cosmic Dead called The Intergalactic Connection – Exploring The Sideral Remote Hyperspace, which is a must-have for every space traveler. The X-ÆON album released in October 2025 on Heavy Psych Sounds represents the latest chapter in their musical development and at the same time consolidates their position among the leading European psychedelic rock bands.
MAD VELVET
is the solo project of the frontman of the band Madhouse Express. Neo-psychedelic synth rock. After the debut album The Dreamshape Mirror, Maxmilián Hruška comes with a new live set based purely on synthesizers and sequencers - the background and the computer have gone aside, but his typical instrumental interventions such as guitar and theremin are also given space. The creation moves to a more danceable, improvisational level, alternating moments in the style of La Femme, Yin Yin, the hallucinogenic poetics of Pink Floyd's Syd Barrett and the playful, sarcastic energy of MGMT, all against the background of a typical mix of dreams and retro atmosphere of the 60s and 70s interwoven with a modern neo-psychedelic rock sound. The project boasts concerts alongside bands like Night Beats, Still Corners or Psychedelic Porn Crumpets.
