About event
Music for a better world - composed by Majid Montazer, interpreted by Giora Feidman
With their new concert program “For a Better World”, Giora Feidman and the Iranian composer Majid Montazer are opening another important chapter in their artistic collaboration. After the successful programs “Friendship” and “Revolution of Love”, they continue their musical message: a passionate plea for peace, humanity and hope.
More than 150,000 concertgoers have experienced the previous programs - an impressive proof of the emotional power and international appeal of this extraordinary vision.
“He writes. I play. That is our mission.” – Giora Feidman
Feidman gets to the point: Montazer’s compositions form the foundation of the concert series. They combine classical structures with Persian timbres, spiritual depth and cultural openness - a sound cosmos that was tailor-made for his clarinet. Together they carry this music into the world - as an emotional statement for understanding and reconciliation.
Majid Montazer - composer with vision
Majid Montazer is the compositional inspiration behind the concert programs “Friendship”, “Revolution of Love” and now “For a Better World”. With a fine sense, he transforms social issues into music that connects and moves. In Giora Feidman he has found a congenial interpreter who not only lets his works sound, but gives them a deeply personal expressiveness. Their collaboration is an expression of a deep artistic and human connection, driven by the shared desire to make the world a little brighter through sound.
A musical manifesto for peace
Whether in renowned concert halls or small cultural venues - “For a Better World” is a musical statement by two artists whose shared vision extends far beyond notes. Montazer's scores come to life through Feidman's clarinet - direct, emotional, haunting.
