Giuseppe Verdi - Aida

Aida is one of the most popular works of world opera literature. It is also a mature work of the opera genius Giuseppe Verdi, who at the time of his composition experienced fame, financial success and admiration for the superstar.

Order for this exclusive opera came from Egypt: the work was to be presented at the opening ceremony of the Suez Canal. Although this intention failed, the opera fulfilled the ideas of the customers - Verdi in Aida put a long study of the traditional music of this ancient country, monumentality and festive tone. This created an attractive work depicting the story of the love of two women for one man, which takes place against the background of the fierce struggle of Ethiopians and Egyptians.
