Gizmo Varillas in Tolhuistuin

The Spanish-British singer-songwriter Gizmo Varillas is coming to Tolhuistuin with its largest Tour so far. His new album 'The World in Color' is a warm, personal album full of Latin American rhythms, folky melodies and light indie pop. Born in Spain and raised in London, Varillas brings a rich palette of influences together into something that sounds familiar and completely unique. Think of Manu Chao, Paul Simon or Devendra Banhart, but with a modern twist and a soft, sunny voice. His infectious sound makes his live performances a party for those who love worldly grooves and an evening full of dance and pleasure.
