iconic Canadian band Godspeed you! Black Emperor, whose musical speech is considered to be the top of the post-rock genre and at the same time stands outside, will arrive for the first time in Brno. Gy! Be will play 9 March at Fleda and a special guest will be Kristof Hahn known primarily as a member of Swans.

Godspeed You! In 1997–2002, Black Emperor released a number of albums that are generally considered a groundbreaking in "protest music". Long and strong instrumental rock compositions with a huge emotional charge serve as a soundtrack to alienate and resistance in late capitalism. The first four band albums - especially F#and#∞ (1997) and Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas To Heaven (2000) - are considered a classic of their time. The image of the albums and the physical LP, as well as define the unique aesthetic nature, the ethos and myth of this group. The band never had websites or accounts on social media. She never recorded a video. Little "rock" bands in the 21st century were so persistent in letting only their work to speak for themselves. During this, they played hundreds of concerts sold out and released four other albums that received worldwide response to fans and critics.
