Gogol Bordello in Paradiso

Since 1999, the multicultural punk band Gogol Bordello, led by the Ukrainian frontman Eugene Hütz, has been filling concert halls with an energy that could illuminate an entire city. Their latest album 'Solidaritine' is no exception and goes back to their hardcore roots. Hütz was a lifelong lover of the punk scene when he grew up in Ukraine. Hütz traveled over the world and was finally where he felt at the end of the 1990s: in the Lower East Side of New York, where he visited punk shows one piece. In that period he formed Gogol Bordello, with which he played a lot in Ukrainian bars in New York. In the end, his group steadily grew into an 8-member multicultural band, which combined Eastern, Western and Latin traditions.

Since then, the band has illuminated festivals and concert halls around the world and shared the stage with System of A Down, Primus, Rancid and Dropkick Murphys, Duets with Regina Spektor, and albums made with legends Rick Rubin and Steve Albini.
