«Голоса российского феминизма», Анастасия Полозкова — Амстердам

In March with the Amsterdam branch of our club, we will discuss the book ** “The End of the Free Era: Voices of Russian feminism” ** Anastasia Polozkova. The meeting will be held on March 8, on International Women's Day, in the PEGASUS bookstore. We will start at 17:00.

This book is a collection of interviews with women representing various faces of the modern feminist movement. It tells about the history of the struggle for female rights in the USSR, of regional initiatives, the struggle against domestic violence, about media feminism and much more. Thanks to the interview format, complex issues are revealed without excessive academicity, illustrating the variety of topics and the views inherent in the female movement. The book was published in 2024. She will respond to many because of her relevance.
