✨What will you take away from the Gong workshop?
The first step into the world of the infinite potential of the gong sound. This workshop is the introductory workshop of the Gong Academy (read below) and if the sound of the gong enchants you, then you can go on a journey with the gong. Learn how to conduct Gong baths, individual therapies, play according to sacred geometry or start using your voice. On Sunday, December 3, 2023, a follow-up workshop Advanced gong playing techniques will be held.
✨Who is this workshop intended for?
This workshop is intended mainly for laymen and gong enthusiasts, who want to get to know this mystical musical instrument from the opposite side as well and penetrate deeper into its vibrations and tones.
✨It is necessary to own gong?
Owning or bringing a gong is not a requirement. We will be playing different gongs from Grotta Sonora, Gongland and Tone of Life brands. Gongs and mallets will be available for purchase on site. You can find our current offer here: https://www.vlnazdravia.sk/gongy-nastroje/
< br/>✨Is it necessary to have a musical education or master sheet music?
Absolutely not! There is absolutely no need for any musical experience or other knowledge in the field of music to learn to play the gong. The key is to allow yourself to listen and become one with the sound. . Renka's journey with sounds began with therapeutic tuning forks and Tibetan bowls. The most close to her heart was the gong, which she met in 2017 and, as they say, it was love at first sight. She was gradually educated in all the mentioned areas in the form of courses, workshops and training sessions with Andrea Bajnoková, Eva Ružovičová, and Claudio Salinas. She has been actively playing the gong for 2 years, mainly at public meetings - Gong baths, and at the same time the gong is an integral part of her teaching practice. Renka has been an active part of the Health Wave team since 2022.
