About event
Musical stage reading with Gerhard Kampf and Karsten Troyke.
"I should explain dozens of times what Jewish humor is all about. Of course, it is self-ironic, suffering and paradoxical. It sees people as problems, God as overwhelmed and psychiatrists overpriced. But what makes this humor so attractive, which is why we love it, is its deeply encouraging effect. The laughter, if there is any at all, "comes from the heart, from the center of life planning," wrote director and author Dani Levy in his foreword for the book "Now Tacheles." Jewish Cultural Days, grew up with a Jewish mother whose sense of humor influenced him. Anyone who knows him knows that he is a gifted teller of jokes and anecdotes. In the program “God laughs with his creatures” he touches and entertains the audience with his skills and also reads texts by Oliver Polak and Ephraim Kishon. The songwriter Karsten Troyke is a congenial stage partner who inspires with humor, great musicality and his unique voice.
If you embark on a journey through Jewish humor with these two extraordinary people, you will leave the event a little lighter and more carefree, but still enriched by a few experiences.
