A contribution to Thomas Mann's 150th birthday and the 80th anniversary of the construction publisher.
Dr. Gotthard Erler (92), Lector, editor -in -chief and (according to the fall of the wall) chief leaker and managing director in the construction, tells of how that argument by the Lübeck brothers as a permanent threat scenario for democracy and civilization accompanied his work for forty years and how he pursued the life of Thomas and Heinrich Mann.
