Two-day gravel adventure with Jan Valach along his favorite routes around Považské Inovec
Hello,
We invite you to the 70th Trekland Trip. You know some roads from the map. The locals know them best.
Join a unique two-day gravel adventure, during which we will be accompanied by the former professional cyclist, Olympian and sports director of Petra Sagan - Ján Valach.
During two days, he will guide us along his favorite routes around Trenčín and Považské Inovec towards Duchonka. Along the roads that he used for years during training and which are among the most beautiful gravel sections in the region. Approximately 60 kilometers of gravel roads await us on the first and second day, forest weighbridges and forgotten junctions leading to the Duchonka recreation area.
It will not be a race.
There will be no time trials.
It will be a weekend of discovery, adventure, community and the freedom that a gravel bike offers.

WHY THIS TRIP?
Gravel is more than a discipline. It's a way to travel. The possibility to turn off the main road whenever something interesting appears. Explore the forest path. Discover the view. Stopping at a place you would never see from a car. Performance won't matter this weekend. The road will be important. And the people you will experience it with.
WITH JAN VALACH ON HIS HOME ROADS
Every region has its own secret roads. And those who drive them for years know them best. Ján Valach is one of the most successful Slovak cyclists of recent years. He represented Slovakia at the Olympic Games, worked in professional teams of the highest level and later became Peter Sagan's sports director. The area around Trenčín and Považské Inovac is the place where he grew up, trained and still rides his favorite gravel tracks. During the whole weekend, he will be part of the group, he will share his experiences and guide us to the places he likes the most.
PROGRAM
10:00 - start at ORIGOS Trenčín (we will meet at the ORIGOS store in Polyfuncija Rulandská)
Before the start, each participant can hand over his luggage to the accompanying van, which will take it directly to the camp on Duchonka. After a short briefing, we set off on the route.

During the ride there will be prepared refreshment stop with drinking regime. Upon arrival, rest, dinner and a real bikepacking atmosphere await us. We spend the night in an autocamping. Each participant can bring his own tent or sleep under the open sky as befits a real gravel adventure. The next day we go back the same way for approx. 60km.
