The Guano Apes have become really relaxed. Instead of submitting to the mechanisms of the market, the band from Göttingen has come off. Do not produce new records every one and a half year, but rather go on stage when the monkey itches again. But then the relaxation is over: Anyone who was there on the first post -pandemical tour, whoever experienced one of the powerful concerts at the big festivals, knows that. From the first bars of the programmatically understanding opener "You can’t stop me" through all hits to the last crookcord "Lords of the boards", the Guano Apes let the wild animal run and rock every audience. Incidentally, this can also be described as groundbreaking: While the world is becoming increasingly digital, the Guano Apes go to opposition and demand analogous. Or as you put it yourself:
"We are closer to the monkey than to AI. And there is a primeval power that is inherent in people, the old world relay: the urge for freedom.
