«That others boast of the pages they have written; I have read what I read, ”wrote Jorge Luis Borges (‘ a reader ’). That others boast of their macroconciertes, of their eternal virtual queues, of their figures without equal; We are proud to have scheduled on more than one occasion the Argentine pianist and composer Guillermo Klein, a musician as cultured as unclassifiable, which in 2005 recorded at our festival a wonderful live in Barcelona (Fresh Sound) with his All Stars Los Mano band. "We are going to play several new music that I will write especially for the group, thinking of all of them, musicians I know and want," he tells us from his home in Beacon, north of New York. "For me it is very nutritious to play with younger people and see what they are," Klein continues about this group, a stellar octet plus participation as a special guest of Carme Canela. "It will be a fun music to play, adventurous, deep," concludes Klein, for whom, in addition, returning to Barcelona is a reason for joy: "It is always special to play on land that my children gave me." Night of Wonders in the Short Distance of the Jamboree.
