The first part consists of four lectures (detail in English below). The aim is to present the aesthetics of traditional Japanese performative arts focusing on kata - the term denoting formalized patterns of physical movements and sound clusters, and MA - the term denoting the non -fixed time interval.
Students task by the end of May to create a short work (musical composition or other work according to their focus) based on the content of lectures and also Short self -reflection on how the content of the lecture inspired the work. Jinmei Linder began playing on Shakuhač in Japan in 1985, where he studied at Yamaguchi Gorō. He won the title of MFA as a soloist at the University of Tokyo Art and Yamaguchi won the title Shihan and the name Jinmei. Before Linder returned to his native Sweden, he performed professionally for twenty years and taught in Japan. Now he regularly performs and teaches throughout Europe. Linder holds a doctorate in Japanology and acts as a associate professor in the field of Japanese studies at Stockholm University, where research actively conducts, such as Kinko-ry yeahuhachi Honkyok (2011); Deconstruction of tradition in Japanese music (dissertation, 2012); Jiuta Sōkyoku Lyrics and Explants (Christopher Yohmei Blasdel, 2024). He also teaches at the Royal Music School in Stockholm if the teacher is needed. Linder has also made a number of recordings. In 2016 he was awarded the honor of the Japanese Foreign Minister for his cultural and scientific activities.

Linder Performed and Taught Professional in Japan for Twenty Years Before Returning to HIS Native Sweden. He Now Performs and Teaches Regularly Throughout Europe. Linder Holds and PhD in Japanology and Is Working Associate Professor in Japanese Studies at Stockholm University WHERE He Is Actively Conducting Research, For Example: Notes on Kinko-ry yeah Shakuhachi Honkyoku (2011); DECONTRUCTING TRUDION IN JAPANEESE MUSIC (PhD Diss., 2012); Jiuta Sōkyoku Lyrics and Explants (Christopher Yohmei Blasdel, 2024). He Also Teaches at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm When and Shakuhachi Teacher Is Required. Linder Has Also Made Numerous Recordings. February 24 he and Theoretical Discussion on Patterns of Formal Sound Clusters, kata, and rhythmical patterns, ma. In this lecture, the previous three lectures Will be revisited, to indicate how the concepts kata and ma are part of a varied palette of mediated expressions.
