About event
When the financial markets collapsed in Asia, no one suspected that there could be a connection to the new computer of a family from Berlin-Wilmersdorf. But heating installer Timo Steppanski is surprised when he suddenly sees the receipt of 2 trillion euros in his private account. The good news spreads like wildfire among friends and neighbors. What should you do with so much money?
But instead of treating yourself to a mobile home and helping distant relatives, Steppanski has a big vision: he will relieve the German state of its debts through an anonymous donation.
The sensation is huge , the joy too.
But unfortunately it doesn't last. Prosperity for all harbors pitfalls for the German soul. Is the German actually made to wade knee-deep through happiness?
Soon, experts suspect that the well-intentioned gesture is a terrorist attack on the Western value system. As a result, the Steppanskis are targeted by the BKA, the federal government and the Chinese secret service. It is gradually dawning on those responsible: Germany as a debt location is in danger. Xi Jinping wants to march into Rügen. Steppanski has to go...
GUTES MONEY is a fast-paced satire about money and politics, global financial flows and Berlin sensitivities. With crazy neighbors, helpless police officers and panicked politicians.
And with the ensemble of the cabaret theater The Porcupines in countless roles. Plus: lots of music!
