About event
Dear friends, swing and gypsy swing in particular. 🤩
We would like to invite you to the first public event organized under the wings of the Institute of National Memory in Brno. The goal is to get together and play in a pleasant company. 🎶 Invited are 𝐦𝐮𝐢𝐤𝐬𝐧𝐭𝐢 𝐯𝐳𝐡𝐨 𝐃𝐮𝐡𝐮, beginners and advanced and of course singers. The event is primarily designed for 𝐤𝐮𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐲, but it's no problem to join in with a smaller combo. During it, musicians come together and improvise music with characteristic spontaneity and emotional expression. This way of musical expression, based on immediate joint creation, is the heart of gypsy swing, which Django Reinhardt helped to popularize all over the world.
📍 The event will take place in the premises of Radnická 10 in Café Paměti národa and officially starts at 6 p.m. :00.
🎟️ The event is on Friday.
We will look forward to it! 💛🎵
