Winter might still be hanging on, but we’re bringing the heat with another killer night of stand-up at De Dakkas! Join us for Rooftop Laughs: March Edition, where top comedians, great vibes, and stunning rooftop views make for the perfect midweek escape.

🎤 Peter Jones – An award-winning Australian comedian now based in London! As seen on Comedy Up Late, Netflix’s Why Are You Like This?, and writer for TV shows like The Project and The Weekly. Winner of Kings of Comedy - Comedian of the Year and the 2023 Beat the Frog World Series! And Richatd Walker, Elena Popa, Christian Pielich, Rein Mulders, Shahzad Memon.

Peter Jones
Emily Higginson is a young comedian from America, but don’t hold that against her. Friends have described Emily as “an average performer” and “kind of funny I guess”. Emily has described herself as “very tall” and “extremely funny”.
Richard Walker
I’ve been living in Amsterdam so long I thought I was Dutch but then I looked at my passport and it turns out I’m British. Sorry.
Christian Pielich
Cristian Pielich is a comedian from Haarlem. His style is dry and calm, but also sharp, witty and sometimes edgy. Pielich has been performing with his comedy act for twenty years at theaters, bars and private performances. In an interactive way he discusses hot topics such as dating and his performance experiences. Hilarity guaranteed.
Elena Popa
'Mine are clean jokes, I don't swear or talk about sex (on purpose). I like to talk about my own experiences and how I see things, so I would describe it as an observational sort of storytelling. Elena Popa is the winner of the December edition of TUNA! The Tiny Underground Newbie Award was well deserved, winning the jury vote and coming in second with the audience vote.
Shahzad Memon
Born in Pakistan and now proudly ‘Dutch,’ Shaz has been navigating the not-so-delightful expat life in the Netherlands for the past seven years. With an infectious passion for being on stage, Shaz brings an enthusiastic and weirdly energetic vibe to every performance.
Venue
DeDAKKAS is a green catering pavilion on top of the De Kamp parking garage in the center of Haarlem. On the roof, above all, you can enjoy the fantastic view of Haarlem's city center.
From the pavilion and from the terrace you can see the monumental city center of Haarlem straight in front of you, with the dunes on the left, the domed prison on the right and right in front of you the Great St. Bavo Church, which towers over the roofs over the length of the nave.
Go to and IN (literally) Parking De Kamp, take the elevator till the 6th floor to bar/restaurant.

- 10:00-10:30 PM: Drinks for those who want to have a chat and a drink.
