About event
He was convinced that "art is about freedom". He felt free in a long shirt. His paintings are timeless, mysterious, some even controversial. They look luxurious with their unique style of gilding, but he lived a modest and reclusive life. A recognized portraitist of wealthy patrons, he did not paint a single self-portrait himself.
Come and taste a piece of freedom in art in the beautiful spaces of the Starý Avion Gallery with a small snack and a group of creative people, where together we will paint one of Gustav Klimt's paintings on canvas. Don't be afraid to "be an artist" and come and engage your imagination.
You can learn more about the life and art of GUSTAV KLIMTA in our studio.
