With a lightness that is reminiscent of the Pop Art of the 60s, Hannes Wesendonk plays with the forms of concrete poetry, pop poetry and prose poems in his first volume of poetry and confronts them with the present.
Clemens Schittko reads new, unpublished texts.
Hannes Wesendonk, born in 1986, of German-Swiss origin, first appeared as a singer and songwriter for the Berlin band U3000. As an auteur filmmaker, he shot the no-budget films “U3000 – Death of an Indie Band” (2018) and “Erster Berliner Kunstverein e.V.” (2021). “The guy with the tinted glasses” is his poetry debut.
Clemens Schittko, born in East Berlin in 1978. Trained building cleaner and publishing clerk. Worked, among other things, as a window cleaner, church attendant, gardener, receptionist, proofreader and warehouse worker. Numerous publications as a poet. His poetry collections “Artaud is dead” (2022) and “nur Sex” (2024) were most recently published by XS Verlag.
