Hanspaulka

Commented walk through a well-known residential area.

We will talk not only about architecture but also about human destinies. After all, it is the people who shape the character of that neighborhood and influence its appearance. And there is certainly no shortage of interesting human stories on Hanspaulka. The participants of the walk will remember, among other things, the famous First Republic actress Lída Baarová, a very original architect and an important representative of the Czechoslovak insurance industry. They will also see the castle that gave the whole area its name and several other estates.

Important information:

• Meeting point: bus stop U Matěje (bus 131) direction from Hradčanská
• length of walk: approx. 2 hours.
• end walks: Evropská ul.
• Ticket advance sales end one hour before the start of the walk.
• Tickets can only be purchased on the spot if the capacity of the walk has not been filled.
• The organizer reserves the right to cancel the walk in case of low interest. Participants with a ticket will be informed of the cancellation of the tour and the money will be returned to their account.
• Children under 6 years of age have free entry.
• Filming or recording of the guide during the tour is not permitted.
