Haraburdy 2025 - Old things may not end up in the basket. Bring, Purchase, RecycLuj. They are a place where memories come to life and things will get a second chance. The museum motivates the public with this long -time project to reflect on the reuse of objects, finding new meaning and the use of older things that have lost the owner but not value. Historically and documentary interesting items are also included in the museum collection.
What can you bring or find? Everything from old porcelain, components, dishes, furniture, tablecloths, to costumes, books, frames, decorations, old lamps or treasures from the attic. Things that have lost meaning to someone can fit someone else into life or workshop. Haraburdy is not focused on ordinary clothes and shoes. The exception is only costumes or clothing with a folk or craft character.
and one more great news. This year, Haraburdy got into the shortlist of the prestigious ICOM Award 2025 in the category of non -traditional museum projects that support collecting. Among the 129 projects from around the world, junk is the only representative not only of Slovakia but also the countries of the V4! We will wait for the results, but we already have a reason for joy.
When can you visit us? 2025
If you have something at home that you are sorry to throw away and it can still serve someone, bring it to the workshop from August 20. And if you like to hunt treasures and old exceptional things, come to take something.
