About event
**\- FEMALE\-FRONTED IS NOT A GENRE 4 \-**
Punk and hardcore festival focusing on strong female voices and bands with a female-only lineup. Especially in the male-dominated music world, the event series aims to encourage other FLINTA\*s and give their stories a platform. And that stage is once again at the legendary SO36. The evening will be presented on October 17, 2025, together with Kreuzberg friends and neighbors **Coretex** and **Iriedaily**.
"Female-Fronted Is Not A Genre" originally emerged from an idea by the Berlin band **Kill Her First**, which was founded in 2007 with an all-female lineup. While the quintet has undergone numerous lineup changes since then, they have never lost sight of their original message: inclusivity and diversity in punk and hardcore.
**🫶 We will meet in front of SO36 by 8pm.** We also have a telegram group, dm me if you'd like to join the group ahead of time.
