Who's Hardline?
Hardline is an American rock group formed in 1992.
known for his mixture of hard rock and melodic metal, he first made himself known with his first album,
Double Eclipse, released in 1992.
The original group of the group included the powerful singer Johnny Gioeli, the guitarist Neal Schon (Journey) Deen Castronovo (also from Journey). This prestigious training contributed to the initial success of the group and gave its music a neat and commercial sound.
Double Eclipse recorded several tubes, including popular songs "Hot Cherie" and "Takin 'Me Down", which helped to establish the reputation of Hardline as a group capable of producing catchy and impactful rock hymns. The mixture of melodic choruses and powerful voices of the album created a distinctive sound which found an echo with fans of rock rock and melodic metal.
However, after the initial success of Double Eclipse, the group had to face composition changes and periods of inactivity. Despite this, Johnny Gioeli remained in the foreground of Hardline, and the group continued to get out of the albums, including II (2002), Leaving the End Open (2009), Danger Zone (2012), Life (2016) and Heart Mind and Soul (2021).
These albums illustrated the evolution of the group, while retaining its signature style: a melodic and punchy rock, and the inimitable voice of Gioeli.
The sound of hardline is often characterized by an energetic mixture of melodic rock, powerful singing and classic rock influences. Over the years, they have retained a base of faithful fans despite the composition changes, and their music still reflects their roots in the hard rock and melodic metal scenes of the 1980s and 1990s. The group is still active today, known for its passionate live performances and its ability to create music that resonates both with classic hard rock fans as well as modern melodic metal. Up:
