Pet Fair Vienna - the original - the largest pet fair in Austria for 19 years - with a focus on dogs, cats and rodents as well as smaller areas of aquarium and terrariums. In 2026 again with 2 halls and an expanded range!

Extensive purchase offer More than 200 exhibitors present pet-related products from treats and premium pet food as well as nutritional supplements to leashes, collars, dog and cat beds, and pet furniture on over 12,000 m2. A variety of services relating to beloved animals will be presented at the event: from animal trainers, dog schools, various further training courses for dogs and owners, insurance companies, veterinarians, veterinary medicine, holidays with the animal, animal boarding and much more. The range of advice and services extends from advice before purchasing a puppy/kitten to the last journey of your beloved four-legged friend.

Participation activities & workshops For everyone who not only wants to watch and enjoy but also really take part, there are lots of participation activities and workshops and tournaments for beginners and professionals such as

Extensive range of food and drinks

10+ food trucks and artists offer a wide variety of sweet and salty dishes in every price range - from waffles to low & slow barbecue delicacies from the smoker. In 2026, our dining area will be clear and moved outdoors with plenty of seating options (inside for non-smokers and outside for smokers) and even more culinary offerings. And there is the best barbecue because the Vienna BBQ Days are held in parallel. And yet admission has not increased since 2024 :-) There again: the Chilieck - with seed plant chili specialties and the chili contest and an expanded EXOTICA plant rarities area! In addition, there are the Vienna BBQ Days with a gourmet market parallel to the indoor and outdoor areas and visitors to the pet fair are allowed to attend both events. The food trucks are also outdoors, which means there is no odor at all and more space for seating and sales stands and stages!"

Easy to reach - regardless of whether it is public by car.

You can reach the MARX Hall by public transport with tram lines 18 and 71, the S7 and the U3 subway, to which there is even a free shuttle bus.

You can park in the parking garage directly at the hall (2.20 €/h (as of 9/2025) or in the P&R Erdberg with a free shuttle bus every 10-20 minutes to the event and back. Stations: U3 Erdberg and Park & Ride Erdberg a cheap daily parking fee of Euro 4.40 (as of 9/2025)

DOGS pay NO entry! EVERY dog requires a valid rabies vaccination! According to the MA60 Vienna Veterinary Office, dogs that are too young for the rabies vaccination are not allowed to attend the event (please contact the MA 60)

Advance sale prices

• Child day ticket, 6-15 years, advance sale, € 7,- *

*) until December 24th with no extra fees thereafter plus advance booking fees

There are unlimited tickets at the box office on the day, except in the case of overcrowding, then preference will be given to owners of Advance tickets admitted.

How do I get to the pet fair in Vienna? Event

• Subway U3 station Erdberg with free shuttle bus directly to the event
• Tram 18 station Viehmarktgasse
• Tram 71 station St Marx
• S-Bahn S7 St. Marx

What about parking spaces? There is a parking garage right next to the hall that costs around 2,-/h The P&R Vienna Erdberg is cheaper - this has a daily rate of 3.60 euros. The free shuttle bus also stops there.

Can I bring my dog Yes, but please note that ALL dogs must have a valid rabies vaccination certificate. According to the Vienna Veterinary Office, dogs that are too young for the rabies vaccination are not allowed to attend the fair visit.

Is my ticket transferable?

YES, the name on the ticket will not be checked.

Is it a problem if the name on the registration/ticket does not match the name of the participant?

No.

Can I leave the event during the event and come back to take things to the car etc. ?Yes, of course. This year, every visitor will receive a wristband with which they can leave and re-enter the event on the same day. Entry to the event is only possible with the wristband. This means that you can also switch between the pet fair and the culinary area/Vienna BBQ Days without restrictions.

1.) Animal sales are only possible for the following animal groups:Fish, invertebrates such as insects, spiders, snails, small rodents (mice, chinchillas, hamsters, guinea pigs, rats...) directly from renowned breeders with decades of experience and the best possible advice.

Dog breeders and cat breeders as well as breeds and breeding clubs present their animals exclusively.

Dogs and cats will NOT BE AT THE FAIR without exception SOLD.
