About event

A walk to a special district right in the heart of Prague, on the border of two Prague cities - Old and New.

Here, albeit for a short time, the first systematically founded city on the territory of Prague was created with the name Havelská, after the church of this consecration. The first settlers from southern Germany settled in houses lined up in regular blocks. The center of their life was a vibrant business in a vast market focused on the sale of vegetables and fruits. The unique atmosphere of a separate unit surprisingly remained here even after the place became one of the districts of the Old Town, even after the demolition of the nearby walls and the creation of a unified Prague. , they will look at the show houses of the merchants and meet the famous composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart as well as Johlin Rotlev, the original owner of Karolina. The walk is spiced up by a half-forgotten legend and rumor.
