About event
The rivalry between Trenčín and Slovan is still strong and continues from the time when both clubs represented Slovak hockey in the federal league. In the last decade, Trenčín has retreated from its positions, but mutual matches still have the flavor of a derby. This was also the first match against each other this season. Slovan equalized in the game without a goalkeeper and completed the triumph in overtime. Dukla had an excellent entry into the competition, but gradually fell into the lower half of the table. One of the problems is productivity and efficiency, even the numbers of the best such as Bellerive, Vitolinš or Lapšanský do not impress much. However, Junca is excellent in goal.
HC SLOVAN dedicates this match to all pupils, students and young people on the eve of the International Student Day and the Day of the Fight for Freedom and Democracy.
