Folk and Modular Synthesis performed by Heinali & Andrian-Yaroslava Saienko and their project гільдеґарда (Hildegard) Synagogue.
Everyone is looking for a way to the folk tradition of his homeland and especially how to experience it in the 21st century. The concert is organized by Heartnoize and the Alternative Festival
🎻 Project 𝗛𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗮, consisting of composer and producer Oleh Shpudeiko (Heinali) together with vocalist and actress Andriana-Yaroslava Saienko, returns to the medieval music of Hildegard of Bingen. Ukrainian musicians combine typical folk procedures with the sound of a modular synthesizer and come up with a reimagination of hundreds of years old songs, which were already intensive at the time of interpretation. They required a large voice range and the involvement of the whole body, while their polyphonic melodies have fascinated Oleha, who gave them a five -year -old album Madrigals. The spiritual dimension of music and the depth of the emotions contained in it comes to life again at a time when Ukraine is fighting for its existence and the need to experience pain and moving over it is more burning than ever.

An important practices all together with groups of people with a similar vision of the world. In their music, established and experimental procedures, improvisation or off -road recordings overlap. Last year's album The Shovel Dance featuring many albums of the year is looking for hidden Queer history and emancipation and the power to resist people across time. Rewriting the view of the rich and the powerful ones who wrote history gives the creation of Shovel Dance Collective power, which is fully reflected in concerts.
The event will take place with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic and the City of Prague.
