About event
Henge *live*
HENGE create their own sound, which they call Cosmic Dross: an explosive mix of electro, prog rock, space, psychedelic and art rock with rave energy. Their shows are an exhilarating, extraterrestrial spectacle that takes their audience on a colorful, intergalactic journey between rave energy and prog adventure.
Attention people!
We are HENGE. We are not of this world.
We bring you music from distant planets.
We offer this gift to rebuild humanity...so that your species can eventually put an end to war and find a new home in space.
The alien musicians of HENGE have been delighting audiences in the UK and Europe since they landed on Earth over a decade ago. Their thrilling live performances earned them the Best Live Act award at the Independent Festival Awards, and since then they have cemented their reputation with four acclaimed albums, numerous tours and regular festival appearances.
Their latest album, Journey to Voltus B, expands their intergalactic mythology with a conceptually ambitious work with a twist: a double-groove vinyl pressing that opens up two different endings depending on where the needle lands. The album received rave reviews, sold out headline shows across the UK and Europe and found radio support including BBC 6 Music tastemakers such as Stuart Maconie, Deb Grant and Craig Charles.
Their music defies definition, occupying an unknown realm of rave and prog rock that no one knew existed. Energetic, subversive and invigoratingly playful, she cheerfully ventures into places “where no one has gone before”. Ultimately, HENGE spread a message of hope that leaves their audience exhilarated and inspired.
