Dear women,
I invite you to a circle in which we will mainly pamper ourselves with henna. We meet once a month and meditate and paint simple pictures together. The intention is to relax from everyday life in a peaceful coexistence. In the henna image you can anchor your intention for the next month or just the pure joy of being.
Henna and its rituals have long been associated with women and their creativity. Henna itself is a symbol of female connection and care. Let's dive into this magic and experience it for ourselves. Henna is a medium of folk art, art therapy, meditation and high art. On the journey together, we will see where it takes us.
What awaits you? Simple henna ceremonies, the use of henna as a means of self-discovery and meditation practice, sharing on the given topic - this time Silence.
I will teach you to paint simple symbols, but this is not a classic workshop. We let our intuition and talents work. You will see that it is possible for everyone.
What do you need? The desire to treat yourself to a beautiful time, comfortable clothes in which you feel feminine, one flower and something small for taste - fruit or nuts.
What are you sure to take with you? A hand-made image on the skin and a henna cone that you can later create at home. The joy of creating and (hopefully) a calm mind.
What do you definitely not need? Concerns about whether and how you can paint. Working with henna is not about perfection, but about experience. In addition, painting with a cone is significantly different than with a pencil or brush.
And who am I? Terka - Magic henna, passionate henna lover with many years of experience. I am interested in traditional motifs and the use of henna from Morocco and India, the Moroccan fessi style is my favorite. But I also love floral motifs. I paint at festivals and private events. And I like individual orders the most, when I work intuitively with intention. I am an experienced guide of women's circles and rituals, a lecturer at the pelvic floor school.
I am in training as a teacher of the Dances of universal peace, which are my passion alongside henna, and I regularly lead a dance-singing circle.
I am a mother of three children from puberty to toddlerhood. I don't like dogma and I'm interested in psychology, sexuality and feminism. I love giving people space to talk in a safe space without unsolicited advice. This is the cornerstone of my women's groups.
The price for the evening is 700 CZK.
And because I like connecting mothers and teenage daughters (I have one myself) in the event that you take a daughter 12 - 19 years, you pay 700 CZK for both. The time spent together without responsibilities is the best.
If you are a mother on maternity leave or a single parent and you need to rest, but you don't have any money to spare, be sure to write to me and we'll figure something out.
We'll meet on the 24th. 10. at 6 pm in the Orbis hall right next to Loona studio. The address is Křižíkova 67, Prague 8 Karlín, bell at the door of the Orbis hall. I recommend the connection to Křižíkova station, parking in this area is more difficult.
